RAI Amsterdam aims to improve, renew, and add value to its RAI area and buildings for the benefit of the neighbourhood and the city. We are keen to involve you, as local residents and other stakeholders of the RAI, in this process. We also invite you to complete a survey. Your response will help us gain a better understanding of what you consider important for the area’s development and how you would like to be involved.
About the RAI Amsterdam area development
RAI Amsterdam should become a place where a variety of functions come together. This will help us better connect the RAI area with the surrounding residential neighbourhoods, making it a more integrated part of the community. To achieve this, RAI Amsterdam will develop its area. This involves renewing and improving the RAI buildings and the spaces surrounding them. Additionally, we are exploring the possibility of introducing new functions, such as residential and workspaces, as well as creating more green areas and meeting spaces to make the environment more liveable and attractive.
In collaboration with stakeholders
This area development will affect everyone connected to the RAI, from event visitors to local residents and businesses in Amsterdam. We believe it is important to actively involve all stakeholders in this transformation. That is why RAI Amsterdam will launch a participation process in the fourth quarter of 2024. At that time, we will ask local residents, entrepreneurs, and other stakeholders to contribute their thoughts on the area development of the RAI. The aim of this participation process is to gather wishes and concerns from the community so that these can be incorporated into the planning process.
Call to action: Share your feedback in a short survey
As a first step, we would like to hear from you about how you currently experience RAI Amsterdam, what you think of the proposed ideas, and the areas in which you would like to be involved. Your responses will help us gain a better understanding of what you consider important for the development of the RAI area and how you would like to contribute in the coming period. We therefore invite you to complete this short survey (in Dutch).
Completing the survey takes approximately 3 minutes. Your response will remain anonymous. You can share your feedback until Saturday, 7 December.
Thank you in advance for your participation!
