From monday the 21st of March, 18:00, the assylum and registration of Ukranian refugees will no longer take place in the RAI, but rather at Amsterdam Central Station. A space has been made available on the east side of the station, where refugees will be welcomed. From this Humanitarian Service Point, registration and coordination will take place, and Ukranians will be appointed a place to stay.
In the last few weeks, Amsterdam Central has welcomed around 400 refugees each day. These refugees will be referred to one of the appointed locations in Amsterdam and the rest of the country. Just like at the RAI, the Red Cross will assist in the actualisation of the coordination within the Humanitarian Service Point.
RAI Amsterdam is glad to have been able in these trying times.
