From September 25 to 28, 2024, the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV) Congress will take place at the RAI Amsterdam. This annual event is the largest European congress in the field of dermatology and venereology, attracting over 16,000 visitors from across the globe. The congress offers a comprehensive program, including hands-on workshops, scientific sessions, and the latest technologies and treatments.
In conjunction with this international congress, attention is also given to local initiatives in Amsterdam. On Thursday, September 26, a team of dermatologists from the National Skin Foundation was present at the Dappermarkt. This initiative was made possible through the collaboration between the National Skin Foundation and EADV, aiming to help people with skin conditions without the need for a specialized visit. Visitors were able to ask questions in an informal setting, in their own language, to the dermatologists on-site. Specialists fluent in Chinese, Moroccan, Turkish, Polish, and other languages were available to remove any potential language barriers.
With this collaboration, the EADV Congress underscores the importance of making dermatological care accessible to everyone.
