RAI Amsterdam and Dynamo Foundation: working together for the neighbourhood
Friday, 25 April 2025
RAI Amsterdam is partnering with the Dynamo Foundation to actively contribute to a sustainable and engaged city. Recently, several inspiring examples of this collaboration have once again come to light.
Fruit for the Future
During the King’s Games, a Dutch tradition for primary schools, our Basement chefs joined forces with Dynamo Foundation to provide schoolchildren from Amsterdam-South with a healthy snack – and a valuable lesson in making conscious dietary choices. The fruit, generously sponsored by fresh produce supplier Excellent AGF, served as a conversation starter to encourage awareness around healthy eating.
Glasses Given a New Life
Sometimes, value lies in the things we no longer need. When two restaurants within the RAI recently switched to a single type of soft drink glass, a large quantity of perfectly good glasses became surplus. Instead of discarding them, the glasses were given a second life. Through our Donation Room, they were donated to the Dynamo Foundation and distributed across various community locations.
From Buurtkamer Parkhuis in Amsterdam-East to De Groene Kans in the Rivierenbuurt and Café Genieten in Nieuw-West – places where people come together to share stories and build community – these glasses are now being put to meaningful use, gaining new life and new purpose.
Building a Stronger Amsterdam Together
The partnership between RAI Amsterdam and the Dynamo Foundation shows that social engagement is not an afterthought, but a vital part of how we look ahead. Whether it’s a single glass or a piece of fruit, every contribution matters.
