RAI Amsterdam voted winner in sustainable MT/Sprout SD400
RAI Amsterdam has achieved the number one position in this year's SD400 survey by MT/Sprout. Leading the list in the 'Media and Information Industry' category, the RAI scored particularly high on the ecological aspect. But the RAI was also in the top 4 within the social and governance sub-areas.
It is the first time that MT/Sprout has conducted research into the valuation in terms of so-called ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) aspects plus the impact organisations make on society. The survey is conducted by the University of Amsterdam among over 1,500 business decision-makers in the Netherlands. "Despite being aware of the major challenges companies face, this research contributes to prioritising climate and environmental issues, social policies such as inclusion, diversity and gender equality, and responsible governance," says Henk Volberda, UvA professor at the Amsterdam Centre for Business Innovation and also SD400 research leader.
This recognition is a testament to the ongoing efforts to make the RAI and its surroundings a green, thriving and welcoming environment. Maurits van der Sluis, COO, stated, "It is a confirmation of everything we do to develop the RAI and its surroundings into a green, healthy and attractive place where everyone feels welcome and at home."
