Mandy Bouw and Joas Kemerink from RAI Amsterdam’s Business Development Management department received the Silver M&IT Award for Best Overseas Conference Centre at the annual M&IT Industry Awards in London on Friday 26 February. The RAI shared second place with the CCIB (Centre Convencions Internacional Barcelona). The Convention Centre Dublin won the Gold Award, while Estrel Berlin came in third. The M&I Industry Awards are awarded annually to companies which make a special contribution to the corporate and meeting industry. RAI Amsterdam won Bronze in 2013 and 2014, and Silver in 2015 and this year.
RAI Amsterdam has also been nominated for the Exhibition News Awards in the category ‘Best International Venue’ and ‘Eco Award’. The Excellence Awards are presented annually to companies that have made a special contribution to the exhibition sector. The award presentation, considered the most prestigious event in the sector, takes place on Thursday 28 April.
