The worldly restaurant The Traveller will be located in the building of the former restaurant The Roast Room. The Traveller South will be an inspiring place where local residents, entrepreneurs, students and trade fair visitors to the RAI are welcome from morning until late at night to enjoy traditional world dishes in a fresh-modern restaurant.
A culinary journey of discover
As with The Traveller South East, located in Cumulus Park, The Traveller South's culinary offer is adventurous with a mix of colorful, traditional world dishes, prepared according to modern cooking techniques. The drinks menu is also one big voyage of discovery and is international with ‘special’ beers, fine wines from all continents and cocktails from around the world. On Friday afternoon there is a live DJ. The Upper Deck, including the roof terrace, is the light-flooded upper floor that offers the perfect place for events 7 days a week and can be decorated to everyone's liking.
About The Traveller
The Traveller is the brainchild of Michiel Deenik, chef and owner of Visaandeschelde and The Roast Room. Michiel embarked on an adventure with catering entrepreneur Neal Valentijn, inspired by their shared passion for travel and world cuisine. The team of owners has since been strengthened by Lisa Bakker, former general manager of Visaandeschelde and The Roast Room. The three of them will continue the concept of The Traveller at the RAI. The Traveller South will open at the end of October.
